Tottenham
vs
West Ham United

Tottenham takes on West Ham at the Tottenham Hotspurs stadium looking for their first win a home since beating Man City 2-0 in early February. The same goes for West Ham who looks for their first premier league away win since beating Southampton 1-0 in December.

Tottenham will look to improve on their 1-1 result against Manchester United on Friday, where they took the lead with Steven Bergwijln’s first-half goal on 27 minutes. But Manchester United came back in the second half with an 81-minute equalising penalty, scored by Bruno Fernandes. The result wasn’t what Tottenham was looking for before the game. They are now nine points of fourth place, and their pursuit for champion league football disappears into the distance.

West Ham, on the other hand, will also look to improve on their 2-0 loss against Wolves at home on Saturday. The first half was uneventful as both teams cancelled each other out, with West Ham having the best of the chances. The second half started in the same vein, but wolves made a second-half sub which changed the game as they bought on Adama Traore. Adama Traore turned the game when he came on the pitch, with his assist at 73 minutes for Jimenez to make it 1-0. And his speed and quick feet contributed to wolves second goal. West Ham remains outside the relegation spots only on goal difference with eight games to go.

Tottenham will look to win the derby game against West Ham to keep their faint hopes of getting champion league football. West Ham will look to repeat last season result at the Tottenham Hotspurs stadium, where they won 1-0.  The win would move them further away from the relegation spots.
